Does God's Word ever change?

q.gif (1639 bytes)   Does God’s Word ever change?

a.gif (1659 bytes)   No, God’s pure Word does not change. Matthew 5:18 says, "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Matthew 24:35 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." Isaiah 40:8 says, "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." Psalm 119:160 says, "Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever."

God warns man not to change His Word, but many have disregarded that warning. Revelation 22:18,19 says, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
