What about the Christian Science Church?

    What is your opinion on the church for Christ scientist?

  The Church for Christ Scientist is a cult. According to the Way of Life Encyclopedia, it was founded by a woman named Mary Baker Eddy. She taught that man is not sinful, and does not need to be saved. The Bible says that she is wrong. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

    She also taught that Jesus did not die or shed His blood. The Bible proves her wrong. I Corinthians 15:3,4 says, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"

    This cult does not believe that sickness is real. That is really strange then that Jesus spent so much of His earthly ministry healing the sick.

    There are many more errors about this group which could be discussed, but these should show the honest person that it is indeed a cult.
