a.gif (1659 bytes)   Proverbs 20:1 says a person is not wise if he drinks alcohol. "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."

Proverbs 23:31 says not to even look at fermented drinks. "Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright."

Proverbs 23:20 says not to be around people who are drinking alcohol. "Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh."

Then why did Jesus make alcoholic wine at the wedding? The why did Paul tell Timothy to drink a little wine?
