How old is
the earth?
The Earth is only 6000 years old? What about
radioactive dating that goes back millions of years? And dinosaurs and humans lived
side by side? What about 65 Million year old carbon dating? Also, was there a hell
before Lucifer and his minions were cast into it? Thank you very much...

Carbon dating is not really understood by
most people, and the evolutionists use it in a deceitful manner to try and back up their
"millions and billions of years" theory.
Consider just a portion of an article written by Dr. John Morris from
the Creation Research Institute. "Perhaps no concept in science is as misunderstood
as "carbon dating." Almost everyone thinks carbon dating speaks of millions or
billions of years. But, carbon dating can't be used to date either rocks or fossils. It is
only useful for once-living things which still contain carbon, like flesh or bone or wood.
Rocks and fossils, consisting only of inorganic minerals, cannot be dated by this scheme.
Carbon normally occurs as Carbon-12, but radioactive Carbon-14 may sometimes be formed in
the outer atmosphere as Nitrogen-14 undergoes cosmic ray bombardment. The resulting C-14
is unstable and decays back to N-14 with a measured half-life of approximately 5,730
years. Thus the ratio of stable C-12 to unstable C-14, which is known in today's open
environment, changes over time in an isolated specimen. Consider the dating of a piece of
wood. As long as the tree lives, it absorbs carbon from the atmosphere in the form of
carbon dioxide, both C-12 and C-14. Once the tree dies, it ceases to take in new carbon,
and any C-14 present begins to decay. The changing ratio of C-12 to C-14 indicates the
length of time since the tree stopped absorbing carbon, i.e., the time of its death. ...in
practice, no one trusts it (carbon dating) beyond about 3,000 or 4,000 years, and then
only if it can be checked by some historical means. ...Thus carbon dating says nothing at
all about millions of years, and often lacks accuracy even with historical

Some planets, moons, etc. are spinning in opposite directions. That
could not be, if a "big bang" started it all. At the rate of the sun’s
decay, the sun would have fried the earth those "millions and billions" of years
ago, and the earth would be a freezer "millions and billions" of years down the
road. NASA was afraid that the lunar landing module would sink way down into the dust on
the moon when it landed (because they calculated how deep the dust there would be after
"millions and billions" of years), but how they were surprised when it was only
the depth of a footprint when those astronauts walked upon the surface (just the depth it
should be after the dust of space settling on its surface for about 6,000 years — the
approximate date of the earth according to the Bible).
The
argument is not just about carbon dating, or radioactive dating, or dinosaur footprints
beside those of man in Texas — the real argument is about the existence of God, and
the accuracy of the record that He left for us, the Bible. "The fool hath said in his
heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none
that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if
there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all
together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have all the workers
of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the
LORD." (Holy Bible, Psalm 14:1-4).
Dr. Kent Hovind has for many years offered a $10,000 reward to anyone
who can prove evolution. Guess what? No one ever took him up on it. Why? Because no one
can prove it. It is false. He has now raised the reward to $250,000.
You asked another question, "Also, was there a hell before Lucifer
and his minions were cast into it?" The devil is not in hell right now. Hell
was created for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41 says, "Then shall he say also
unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR
THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS."
The devil is free to roam right now. And guess what he is doing? He is
out deceiving people right now to believe his lie. I Peter 5:6-8 says, "Humble
yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT, BECAUSE YOUR
ADVERSARY THE DEVIL, AS A ROARING LION, WALKETH ABOUT, SEEKING WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR."
The devil will be cast into hell at a future date. Revelation 20:10-15
says, "And THE DEVIL THAT DECEIVED THEM WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever
and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the
earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead,
small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened,
which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written
in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and
death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man
according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death. AND WHOSOEVER WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO THE
LAKE OF FIRE."
Notice that man who rejects God will be cast into the same place of
torment as the devil. Do not believe the devil’s lie. Believe God’s Word that He
created this earth and man upon it, and repent of your sin and receive Jesus Christ today
as your Savior. II Peter 3:3-9 says, "Knowing this first, that there shall come in
the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of
his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the
beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of
God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens
and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire
against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of
this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as
one day. THE LORD IS not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO
REPENTANCE."
