Are there any references in the Bible to the Trinity?

q.gif (1639 bytes)     WHERE IN THE BIBLE CAN YOU FIND REFERENCES OF THE TRINITY?

a.gif (1659 bytes)   The word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, but the truth that God is three divine persons in one is clearly seen.

I John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and THESE THREE ARE ONE.”

Jesus said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.”

The Trinity is seen at Jesus’ baptism. Jesus was there being baptized. The Holy Ghost descended from heaven like a dove. And the Father spake from heaven. Matthew 3:16,17 says, “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
