Ebola, No Fear?
EBOLA—the “most severe
acute health emergency
in modern times.”

Ebola is a virus that has killed thousands of people in West Africa; and, now, it has hit other nations, too, including the USA. In Africa, there have been 1,000 new cases per week, and it is expected to soon jump to 5-10,000 new cases per week. (www.newsmax.com/Headline/who-ebola-africa/2014/10/14).
The symptoms are, a fever (greater than 101.5º), severe headache, muscle pain, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain, and unexplained bruising and/or internal and external bleeding of the body. As it spreads, it damages the immune system and internal organs.
The virus spreads by contacting an infected person’s skin or bodily fluids (it is being studied whether it can be spread through droplets in the air, like through sneezing). On the average, symptoms appear 8-10 days after being infected (but it can take as long as 21 days). People cannot spread the disease to others until their symptoms begin. Jesus’ disciples asked, “What shall be the SIGN of THY COMING, and of the END of the WORLD?” (Holy Bible, Matthew 24:3b). Jesus answered, “...nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and PESTILENCES, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the BEGINNING of SORROWS” (Holy Bible, Matthew 24:6-8). Pestilences is one of the signs of the last days. Are you ready to meet God?
Pestilence = “a contagious or infectious epidemic disease
that is virulent and devastating.”

The World Health Organization has also warned the world about another epidemic in progress, but the news media is strangely silent about it.
On July 11, 2014, the World Health Organization came out with a warning entitled: “EXPLODING EPIDEMICS of HIV/AIDS.” “We are seeing EXPLODING EPIDEMICS ...high-risk groups (are) ...MEN who have ______ (immorality) with MEN, TRANSGENDER people, prisoners, people who inject drugs...” (Gottfried Hirnschall, head of World Health Organization’s HIV Department, www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/07/13/exploding-epidemics-of-hivaids-prompt-thisblunt-recommendation/).
This unreported epidemic is another sign of the Lord’s soon coming. “Likewise also AS IT WAS in the DAYS of LOT... EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE in the DAY WHEN the SON of MAN IS REVEALED” (Holy Bible, Luke 17:28-30).
What was it like in the days of Lot? “But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly” (Holy Bible, Genesis 13:13). What was their sin?
SODOMY is when men are immoral with men, and when women are immoral with women. God calls
it a VILE and UNNATURAL sin.
“For this cause God gave them up unto VILE AFFECTIONS: for EVEN THEIR WOMEN did change the natural use into that which is AGAINST NATURE: And LIKEWISE ALSO the MEN, LEAVING the NATURAL USE of the WOMAN, burned in their lust one toward another; MEN with MEN working that which is unseemly...” (Holy Bible, Romans 1:26-27a).
God says, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is ABOMINATION” (Holy Bible, Leviticus 18:22). God says, “Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the NATIONS are DEFILED which I CAST OUT before you: And the LAND IS DEFILED: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the LAND ITSELF VOMITETH OUT HER INHABITANTS” (Holy Bible, Leviticus 18:24-25).
You may escape Ebola, but what about these other pestilences (contagious, infectious, epidemic diseases) that are coming?
What should you do?
“REPENT ye therefore, and BE CONVERTED, that your SINS may be BLOTTED OUT, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” (Holy Bible, Acts 3:19). “The FEAR of the LORD is the beginning of WISDOM: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Holy Bible, Proverbs 9:10).
What does it mean to fear the Lord? “The FEAR of the LORD is to HATE EVIL: PRIDE, and arrogancy...” (Holy Bible, Proverbs 8:13a). Do you hate evil and pride in your own life? Repent of your selfishness, pride, and self-righteousness. Your good works cannot save you. “For by grace are ye SAVED through FAITH; and that NOT of YOURSELVES: it is the GIFT of GOD: NOT of WORKS, lest any man should boast” (Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9).
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Holy Bible, Romans 5:8). “The BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST his Son CLEANSETH US from ALL SIN” (Holy Bible, 1 John 1:7b). “That if thou shalt CONFESS with thy MOUTH the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED” (Romans 10:9).
“Dear Lord Jesus, I do believe that you are the Son of God; that you are God Almighty in the flesh, the Creator of heaven and earth. I do believe that you are the only Savior; that you died on the cross for me, and gave your precious blood to pay my sin debt; and then you arose from the grave the third day. I do now repent of my sins, and receive you as my Savior. Please forgive me, and save my soul. Please raise up my life from sin and shame, and use it now for your glory. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me, and I desire to now live for Him.
