It seems that almost everyone has tattoos today. Yes, “plural.” How many people that have gotten tattooed, end up with just one? This is exactly what Satan wants, everyone to get tattooed. Why? Because Satan has a future plan for tattoos.
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.” (Holy Bible, Revelation 13:16, KJV)
Why is he going to cause everyone to get tattooed? What is the purpose of it? “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Holy Bible, Revelation 13:17, KJV). Tattoos are going to be all about “controlling” people, and their ability to buy or sell.
But will you not have a choice in the matter? Sure, you have a
choice of which tattoo you want, either his “mark,” or his “name,” or
his “number.” “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or
the name of the
beast, or the number
of his name.” (Holy Bible, Revelation 13:17, KJV). If you choose
“none of the above,” then you will not be able to buy or sell anything.
We do not know what his “mark” will look like. We do not know
what his “name” will be. But we do know what his number is, “666.”
And we do know that all who take his tattoo, will perish for ever in the
lake of fire. “And the third angel followed them, saying with a
loud voice, If any man
worship the beast and his image, and
receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured
out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and
he shall be tormented with fire and
brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the
presence of the Lamb: And the
smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no
rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever
receiveth the mark of his name.” (Holy Bible, Revelation
14:9-11, KJV).
So it is Satan who is pushing the tattoo fad. Once he gets everyone used to having multiple tattoos, it will be much easier to “demand” that all people take “his tattoo.”
In fact, right now, in this age of “political correctness” and “mob rage” and “mob rule” on social media, just to bring up the matter that God says not to get tattooed is sure to get many choice words and names thrown at you. “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.” (Holy Bible, Leviticus 19:28, KJV).
The bottom line is that we are once again in an age where it seems that every man is determined to do what is right in his own eyes. “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” (Holy Bible, Judges 21:25, KJV). Are you determined to please yourself, or to please God? If you are going to please God, then you cannot be ashamed of God, nor of what He has commanded in His Word, the Bible. “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” (Holy Bible, Mark 8:38, KJV).
