Islam – Part 1

Chapter 1

A. The Background of Islam.

The founder of Islam was a man by the name of Muhammad. He was born in Mecca about 570 AD (that was 500 years after Jerusalem was destroyed, and a little over 500 years after Jesus walked upon the earth). Muhammad did not have a lot of parental influence in his life, because his father died while he was still in his mother’s womb, and his mother died when he was 6 years old. Muhammad eventually gained the favor of a wealthy widow, and ended up marrying her — she was 15 years older than he was.

Because of Muhammad’s financially well-off marriage, he had a lot of time

to meditate, and he began to have encounters with a spirit.

He was deathly afraid of these encounters, and thought that he must be possessed by an evil spirit, but his wife convinced him that these visits were from the angel Gabriel. After 25 years of marriage, Muhammad’s wife died, and through the rest of the course of his life, he had 11 wives and concubines (Unveiling Islam, by Ergun & Emir Caner, pages 39-42).

B. The Warnings About Being Deceived.

    1.   2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says “For such are __________ apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for __________ himself is transformed into an __________ of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

    2. In 1 Kings 13:15-19, we see a prophet who accepted the supposed word of an angel over the clear Word of God. “Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. And he said, I may ______ return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: For it was said to me by the ________ of the ________, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an __________ spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he ________ unto him. So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.”

    3. Judgment was thus pronounced upon that prophet in 1 Kings 13:20-22, “And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back: And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast __________________ the mouth of the ________, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee, But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the LORD did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy ______________ shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.”

We must learn to NEVER put the word

of angels before the Word of God.

    4. Galatians 1:8 says, “But though we, or an __________ from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ________________.”

    5.   1 Corinthians 15:1-4 tells us what the true gospel is: “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the _____________ which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are __________, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that ____________ ________ for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was ____________, and that he ________ again the third day according to the scriptures.”

C. The Past and Present Attitudes of Muslims Toward Christians.

Note: Before we get into the teachings of Islam, we need to consider a statement made by Muhammad. Muhammad’s writings are placed in a book called the Quran (sometimes spelled Koran). The Quran has chapters that are called surahs, and then verses within those chapters. Surah 5, verse 82 (henceforth written 5:82, chapter/verse) says,

“Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans;

and nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say,

‘We are Christians’: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men

who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.” (Quran, Surah 5:82)

Note: As you have just read, Muhammad did not have very nice words for the Jews, but his words in regard to the Christians should cause us to take careful note. Muhammad noticed that there was something special about Christians.

#1 — Muhammad noticed that Christians do not hate their enemies, but love them and want to see them converted.

“NEAREST AMONG THEM IN LOVE TO THE BELIEVERS WILT THOU FIND THOSE WHO SAY, ‘WE ARE CHRISTIANS…’” (Surah 5:82)

    6. Matthew 5:43-48 says, “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, ________ your ______________, bless them that curse you, do ________ to them that ________ you, and ________ for them which despitefully use you, and __________________ you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

Note: But is this trait seen in Christians today? We are told that fewer and fewer missionaries are being sent out by local churches; while, at the same time, many churches are building huge building complexes, to the point where they now refer to them as campuses.  Many pieces of literature advertising churches or special speakers now make reference to the value of the church property. That does not remind us of a missionary-minded church, but a rich, lukewarm, selfish church.

    7. Revelation 3:14-19 says, “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true ______________, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art ______________ cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art ________________, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am ________, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and ____________.” 8. Jesus did not seem too impressed with the value and size of buildings. Mark 13:1-2 says, “And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, ______ what manner of ____________ and what __________________ are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these __________ __________________? there shall ______ be left ______ stone upon another, that shall not be ____________ ________.”

Note: Would Muhammad be so convinced today that Christians love even their enemies, and want to see them converted? Or would he find Christians now to be more interested in their own comfort and contented to dwell in their multi-million dollar facilities?

Islam – Part 1

Chapter 2

— Muhammad noticed that there was something special about Christians.

#1 — Muhammad noticed that Christians do not hate their enemies, but love them and want to see them converted.

#2 — Muhammad noticed that Christians are people devoted to learning.

“…nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are Christians’: BECAUSE AMONGST THESE ARE MEN DEVOTED TO LEARNING…” (Surah 5:82)

    1. Acts 17:11 says, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all __________________ of mind, and ________________ the scriptures __________, whether those things were so.”

    2.   2 Timothy 2:15 says, “__________ to shew thyself approved unto God, a ______________ that needeth not to be ashamed, ______________ dividing the word of truth.”

    3. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says, “__________ all things; hold fast that which is good.”

Note: Is that really true of Christians today? Are Christians really devoted to learning? Or are Christians today devoted to entertainment?

Do Christians today go to church to worship the Lord and learn

more about what the Bible teaches, or do they go to sit back

in a casual atmosphere and be rocked by the music,

and entertained by the media presentation?

What we are seeing today is actually an antagonism toward teaching and learning in the church. What we are hearing today is, “Break down denominational barriers!” Denominations are not made up of people who just want to go to a church with a different name on the sign. Denominations are present today because of the different doctrines which people believe. The word doctrine means teaching — in this context, Bible teaching. Does the Bible teach us to downplay doctrine? No.

4.   2 Timothy 4:2-4 says, “Preach the ________; be instant ____ season, ______ of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and ________________. For the time will come when they will ______ endure sound ________________; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the __________, and shall be turned unto ____________.”

The Bible warned us that this time would come, when

professing Christians would start downplaying doctrine.

Note: A fable is “a feigned story or tale, intended to instruct or amuse” (Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary). That is exactly what we are seeing today in churches with the multimedia presentations, plays, and skits. They are teaching fables — fictitious stories, rather than teaching the truth of the Bible.  You will notice that these people choose such teachers “after their own lusts.” They like these teachers, because they like the lust which is fulfilled in these multimedia presentations.   It is the same reason that churches have switched from a man leading the congregational singing, to a group of men and women dancing around on the platform leading the singing. They call them Praise Teams, but they are simply dance troupes. They have met with such success in churches for the same reason that they (dancers) have met with such success in the world — lust. Watching people dance has always stirred up the lust in people.

    5. Amos 3:3 says, “Can two walk ________________, except they be ____________?”

Note: Here is another indication that many Christians are no longer meeting for instruction, but for entertainment. They come to church with different translations of the Bible, which make it hard to follow along with the one reading. School teachers and professors have more sense than that, in that they require the students to all obtain the same textbook, and a specific edition of it, if more than one is available. Why? Because it is utter confusion to try and teach others who do not have the same textbook.  Many professing Christians today seem to take real pride in the fact that they do not all have the same text of the Bible, and they scoff at the idea that there even is one authoritative text that is correct and without error. How can they be serious about learning in such an environment? They are only fooling themselves. Try having a congregational song service where everyone has a different hymnbook! It would only take one service to decide that if the church is serious about singing, everyone needs the same hymnbook.  The people at the Corinthian Church were also fooling themselves, because they took pride in the fact that so many people were speaking in different tongues. The Bible does not commend them, but rebukes them for what was taking place.

    6. 1 Corinthians 14:6-8 says, “Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by ________________? And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a ______________________ in the sounds, how shall it be __________ what is piped or harped? For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?”

    7. 1 Corinthians 14:11 says, “Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a __________________, and he that speaketh shall be a __________________ unto me.”

Note: The word barbarian means, “foreign, wild” (Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary). If someone speaks in a language that you do not know, then there can be no real communication of any depth. That is why, at the Tower of Babel, the multitude had to disperse from each other.

    8. Genesis 11:6-8 says, “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one ________________; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there ________________ their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD __________________ them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.”

You will notice in the contemporary church movement that on Sunday evenings,

those churches are now beginning to split up into small group studies that often meet in homes,

instead of at the church building. They do not have a clue as to why that is getting popular,

but the Bible makes it clear — they have been given to confusion (because of the multitude of

different Bible translations), and the result of confusion is scattering or dispersing.

Note: Would Muhammad be so convinced today that Christians are devoted to learning? Or would he be convinced that modern Christians are devoted to entertainment?

— Muhammad noticed that there was something special about Christians.

#1 — Muhammad noticed that Christians do not hate their enemies, but love them and want to see them converted.

#2 — Muhammad noticed that Christians are people devoted to learning.

#3 — Muhammad noticed that Christians are people who are willing to love God more than the world.

“…nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are Christians’: because amongst these are men devoted to learning AND MEN WHO HAVE RENOUNCED THE WORLD…” (Surah 5:82)

    1.   1 John 2:15 says, “Love ______ the __________, neither the ____________ that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

    2. Matthew 6:24 says, “No man can __________ ______ masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve ______ and ____________.”

Note: Would Muhammad find it true today that Christians love God more than the world? In many cases, he would be unable to tell the difference between Christians and the unsaved world.

    3. Today, Muhammad would see that many Christians dress just like the world, despite what the Bible clearly teaches in Deuteronomy 22:5, “The __________ shall ______ wear that which pertaineth unto a ______, neither shall a ______ put on a ______________ garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”

Even the world knows which bathroom door needs pants on it, and which

bathroom door needs a dress on it. But how many Christians do not obey this

clear instruction from God to have a clear distinction in the way that the genders dress?

(Please see Bible Course BC-E-106 for further study on this subject)

    4. Today, Muhammad would see that many Christians listen to the same music as does the world, despite what the Bible clearly teaches in Ephesians 5:19, “Speaking to yourselves in ____________ and __________ and __________________ songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”

Note: The contemporary Christian music crowd says that all music is neutral and thus okay to use. If that were truly the case, then why would God give clear instruction to His people to only listen to three types of music? Individual musical notes are neutral until they are placed together with other notes — just like individual letters of the alphabet are only neutral when they stand alone. When musical notes are placed together, and when letters of the alphabet are placed together, they are no longer neutral, but give forth a certain message. That is why movie producers still pay people thousands of dollars to put specific musical sound tracks to movies. It sets the needed mood for the scene that is being shown. (See Bible Course BC-E-108 for further study on the subject of music). Many times today when you turn on a Christian Radio Station, you cannot even tell whether it is a Christian station, or a secular station, because they sound the same. Many churches now have full rock bands playing the music for their services. The lights are dimmed down. Strobe or swirling lights are used, along with fog juice machines to produce a haze. If Muhammad walked into these churches today, would he be able to tell if he was in a church, or in a worldly nightclub?

Muslims have been around for many years. Why are they suddenly so antagonistic

toward Christians today? One reason is because Christians are so worldly today,

that they can no longer respect them like Muhammad once did.

They never did respect religion that was mere play and entertainment.

The Quran says in Surah 6:70, “Leave alone THOSE WHO TAKE THEIR RELIGION TO BE MERE PLAY AND AMUSEMENT… IT WILL FIND ITSELF NO PROTECTOR or intercessor except Allah.” (The Quran refers to God as Allah. But as we shall see, Allah is not the same as the God of the Bible.) The Quran says in Surah 7:51, “SUCH AS TOOK THEIR RELIGION TO BE MERE AMUSEMENT AND PLAY, AND WERE DECEIVED BY THE LIFE OF THE WORLD.”

If you are in a contemporary church, YOU are part of the reason

why Muslims so hate Christians today. Repent of your

great wickedness and come out of that compromise.

#4 — Muhammad noticed that Christians are people who are humble and attribute all glory and praise to God.

“…nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are Christians’: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, AND THEY ARE NOT ARROGANT.” (Surah 5:82)

    1.   1 Peter 5:5-6 tells us, “Likewise, ye younger, ____________ yourselves unto the elder. Yea, ______ of you be ______________ one to another, and be ______________ with ________________: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. ____________ yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.”

    2. We find the same instruction given in James 4:10, “____________ yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

Note: Would Muhammad find it true today that Christians are humble? Or would he find many Christians today to be very proud?

    3.   2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall ____________ themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and ________ from their wicked ways; then will I ________ from heaven, and will ______________ their sin, and will ________ their land.”

Note: Although Muhammad claimed to believe the Law of Moses (referring to the Old Testament) and the Gospel (referring to the New Testament) — he added to the Sacred Scripture by claiming to have received more — which is now known as the Quran. Aside from the fact that the Bible teaches that it was complete with the closing of the Book of Revelation, if Muhammad had truly received Scripture from God, then it would not contradict the Bible — but there are MANY CONTRADICTIONS between the Bible and the Quran.

Islam – Part 1

Chapter 3

#1 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in the naming of the animals.

Note: The Quran says in Surah 2:31, “And HE TAUGHT ADAM THE NAMES of all things…” The Quran says that God named everything, and then just taught Adam what the names were. This is a clear contradiction of what the Bible teaches.

    1. In Genesis 2:19-20, the Bible says that Adam named all the animals. “And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto ________ to see what he would ________ them: and whatsoever ________ called every living creature, that was the ________ thereof. And ________ gave __________ to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.”

Note: Muhammad claimed to be receiving more Scripture from God, but is God confused? Did He forget who really named the animals, because it happened so many hundred years ago? No, God has not forgotten.

    2. Proverbs 30:5-6 says, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. ______ thou ______ unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a ________.”

Note: God says that when people try to add to His Word, they will be found out to be liars.

The Bible tells us that Adam not only named the animals,

but also named the gender and personal name of his wife.

    3. Genesis 2:21-23 reveals that Adam gave Eve her gender name, “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And ________ said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called __________, because she was taken out of Man.”

    4. Genesis 3:20 reveals that Adam gave Eve her personal name, “And ________ called his wife’s name ______; because she was the mother of all living.”

#2 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in the object of true worship.

Note: The Quran teaches that after God taught Adam what the names of all the animals were, that He then played a little game with the angels about the matter. The Quran says in Surah 2:31-34, “And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: ‘Tell Me the names of these if ye are right.’” “They said: ‘Glory to Thee: of knowledge we have none, save what Thou hast taught us: in truth it is Thou who are perfect in knowledge and wisdom.” “He said: ‘O Adam! tell them their name.’ When he had told them, Allah said: ‘Did I not tell you that I know the secrets of heaven and earth, and I know what ye reveal and what ye conceal?’” “And behold, WE SAID TO THE ANGELS: ‘BOW DOWN TO ADAM:’ AND THEY BOWED DOWN: NOT SO IBLIS: HE REFUSED AND WAS HAUGHTY: HE WAS OF THOSE WHO REJECT FAITH.” So the Quran teaches that God taught Adam the names of all the animals, and then turned to the angels to see if they could guess the right names. The Quran says that instead of God telling the angels what the correct names were (when they did not even try to guess the right ones), He then told Adam to tell them the names. The Quran teaches that God then told the angels to bow down to Adam (presumably because he knew the names of the animals, and they did not). The Quran teaches that Iblis (a name the Quran uses for Satan), would not obey God and bow down to Adam.

This little game that the Quran teaches God played on the angels,

also contradicts the Bible, because the Quran teaches that man

is greater than the angels, and thus worthy of their worship.

    1. Psalms 8:4-5 tells us, “What is ______, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little __________ than the ____________, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”

Note: The Bible teaches that man was created lower than the angels — not higher. But that does not make the reverse true (that men should bow down to angels because they are higher).

    2. Revelation 22:8-9 says, “And I ________ saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell ________ to ______________ before the feet of the __________ which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou ____ it ______: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: ______________ ______.”

The Quran contradicts the Bible. God would never instruct one of His beings

to fall down and worship another one. Angels are not to bow down to man,

and man is not to bow down to angels. God alone is worthy of worship.

    3. Matthew 4:8-10 says, “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall ________ and ______________ me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt ______________ the ________ thy ______, and him ________ shalt thou serve.”

#3 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in the matter of Satan’s rebellion.

Note: The Quran says in Surah 2:34, “And behold, WE SAID TO THE ANGELS: ‘BOW DOWN TO ADAM:’ and they bowed down: NOT SO IBLIS: HE REFUSED AND WAS HAUGHTY: he was of those who reject faith.” Here, the Quran teaches that SATAN’S FALL was in that he would NOT BOW DOWN before ADAM. That is a contradiction to what the Bible teaches. Satan’s fall was in regard to the fact that he wanted to receive the worship for himself, that was due to God alone.

    1. Isaiah 14:12-15 says, “How art thou ____________ from heaven, O ______________, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will __________ ____ ____________ above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; __ ________ ____ like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to ________, to the sides of the pit.”

    2. Ezekiel 28:14-17 says, “Thou art the anointed ____________ that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast ______________ in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till ________________ was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy ____________, thou hast __________________ thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.”

Satan’s problem was not that he was jealous of man (because man knew

the names of the animals). Satan’s problem was that he was jealous of God.

Satan did not want man’s position — he wanted God’s position.

Note: So the Quran teaches a false cause of Satan’s fall, and a false elevation of man over the angels. Although man is made lower than the angels, that does not mean that the angels are going to be over man in eternity.

    3. Hebrews 2:5 says, “For unto the ____________ hath he ______ put in subjection the __________ to ________, whereof we speak.” 4. 1 Corinthians 6:2-3 says, “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that ____ shall judge ____________? how much more things that pertain to this life?”

Note: We are going to stand as testimonies in the final judgment day, when the fallen angels are brought before God and cast into the lake of fire. Our presence there is going to show that it was possible to humble ourselves and submit to God, even though we had never seen Him. Thus we will be witnesses of judgment against the angels which have seen God, and yet have rebelled against Him. They will be without excuse for their rebellion.

    5. Matthew 25:41 says, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye ____________, into _____________________ fire, prepared for the __________ and his ____________.”

Islam – Part 1

Chapter 4

#4 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in elevating the place of animals.

Note: We know from the study of God’s Word that sodomy and an unnatural exaltation of animals go hand-in-hand.

    1. Romans 1:21-27 says, “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And ______________ the __________ of the uncorruptible ______ into an image made like to corruptible man, and to __________, and fourfooted ____________, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and ____________________ and served the ________________ more than the ______________, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto ________ ____________________: for even their __________ did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the ______, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

It should not surprise us that if people start exalting animals above

the Creator (and that is exactly what evolution does — it puts animals as

the forerunners of mankind, instead of God), then it will eventually

follow that man will say that people should not eat meat.

    2.   1 Timothy 4:1-6 says, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the ____________ times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to __________________ spirits, and doctrines of ____________; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to __________, and commanding to ____________ from __________, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.”

Note: In such times, it should not surprise us that Islam is on the rise, when we discover what they teach about animals.

Note: The Quran says in Surah 6:38, “There is not an animal (the lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and THEY (ALL) SHALL BE GATHERED TO THEIR LORD IN THE END.”

Will animals be gathered to the Lord in the end?   Will animals go

to heaven?    That is a clear contradiction to what the Bible says.

    3. Ecclesiastes 3:18-21 says, “I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Who knoweth the spirit of ______ that goeth ____________, and the spirit of the __________ that goeth ________________ to the __________?”

Note: It is important to read the entire context here. What befalls both man and beast? Death.

    4. Ecclesiastes 3:19 says, “For that which befalleth the sons of ______ befalleth ____________; even one thing befalleth them: as the one __________, so __________ the other; yea, they have all one ____________; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.”

When the heart of an animal stops beating, it dies. When the heart of a person

stops beating, he or she dies. It is in that regard that a person has no

preeminence over a beast. Both are subject to physical death.

Note: It is also extremely important to notice the context in regard to what is in view when it says that man and animals go to the same place.

    5. Ecclesiastes 3:20 says, “______ go unto one __________; all are of the dust, and all ________ to ________ again.”

Where do all animals and people go? All of their BODIES GO BACK

TO THE DUST. That is the ONE PLACE that they all have in common.

Note: But the context then makes an important and eternal distinction between animals and people.

    6. Ecclesiastes 3:21 says, “Who knoweth the spirit of ______ that goeth ____________, and the spirit of the __________ that goeth ________________ to the __________?”

Note: The spirit of animals goes down into the earth and perishes at death. They have no more consciousness. But what about man? Does this teach that all of mankind goes to heaven? That would contradict clear Scripture teaching otherwise.

    7. Matthew 7:13-14 says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to ______________________, and ________ there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and ____________ is the way, which leadeth unto life, and ______ there be that find it.”

    8. Luke 13:23-24 says, “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there ______ that be __________? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall ______ be able.”

Note: The Bible is clear that few repent of their sins and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Many travel down the broad road of sin, and end up in hell. Then what does Ecclesiastes 3:21 mean when it says, “Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward…” If the majority of people reject the Lord Jesus Christ and go down to hell, then why does it say the spirit of man goes upward? The answer is that all of mankind will one day answer before God. For the unsaved, this will be at the Great White Throne Judgment.

    9. Revelation 20:11-15 says, “And I saw a great __________ throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the ________, small and great, stand before ______; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were ____________ out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the ________ of ________. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the ________ of ________ was cast into the lake of fire.”

    10. That is the opposite of the saved, who immediately go to be with the Lord at death. 2 Corinthians 5:8 says, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be ____________ from the ________, and to be ______________ with the Lord.”

Note: It should not surprise us at the rise of Islam in these latter days, when we consider their false teaching in the Quran in regard to animals: “…they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end.” That would please many people today who treat pets better than they treat other people.

Illustration: A man was waiting at the bank in the drive-thru lane. The vehicle next to him had a pet in it, and the bank teller offered the person a doggy treat for the pet. When the man observing this was helped by the bank teller, she never offered him a treat for his little son with him (the bank previously offered candy treats for little children). The man thought about the latter days and what the Bible prophesied in regard to the unnatural exaltation of animals. We are living in that day, and Islam caters to it.

#5 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in the fact that God has made a distinction between the “kinds” that cannot be broken.

Note: The Quran says in Surah 5:6, “Those who incurred the curse of Allah and his wrath, those of whom SOME HE TRANSFORMED INTO APES AND SWINE.” The Quran teaches here that God cursed some people for their sin and transformed them into apes and swine. Another passage in the Quran teaches what the sin was. Surah 2:65-66 says, “And well ye knew THOSE AMONGST YOU WHO TRANSGRESSED IN THE MATTER OF THE SABBATH; we said to them: ‘BE YE APES, DESPISED AND REJECTED.’” “So we made it an example to their own time and to their posterity, and a lesson to those who fear Allah.”

So the Quran not only teaches the error that animals go to heaven, but also that God was

mad at certain people because of their sin, and turned them into animals.  That is a contraction

to the Bible, which teaches that God Himself made a BOUNDARY BETWEEN THE KINDS.

    1. Genesis 1:24-27 says, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his ________, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his ________: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his ________, and cattle after their ________, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his ________: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

God does not allow any cross-breeding

between the kinds. That is confusion.

Note: You can have many breeds of cats, and many breeds of dogs, but you cannot breed a cat/dog, or a horse/cat. God does not allow any inter-breeding between the kinds to result in conception. The Bible clearly tells us what God thinks about anyone who tries to go beyond the boundaries of the kinds which He has ordained.

    2. Leviticus 20:15-16 says, “And if a ______ lie with a __________, he shall surely be put to __________: and ye shall slay the beast. And if a __________ approach unto any __________, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to __________; their blood shall be upon them.”

God does not contradict His own law of the kinds.

He does not turn disobedient people into animals.

Note: We do see examples in the Bible of people who broke the sabbath day, and we see there what judgment God ordained to be used upon them.

    3. Numbers 15:32-36 says, “And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the ______________ day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not ________________ what should be ________ to him. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to __________: all the congregation shall __________ him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he ________; as the LORD commanded Moses.”

The Biblical punishment for breaking the sabbath was NOT

being turned into an ANIMAL — it was the DEATH PENALTY.

Note: Do you remember what Muhammad said of the Christians in the Quran in Surah 5:82? “… nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are Christians’: because amongst these are MEN DEVOTED TO LEARNING and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.”

We need to emphasize this point over and over to the Muslims, that we are indeed devoted to studying the Bible, and that they need to do likewise and see the clear errors in the Quran. One error always brings about other errors. Animals do not go to heaven or to hell. To change a man into an animal would thus mean that man would then not go to heaven or to hell, but would just cease to exist at death. Muhammad thus made another fatal flaw in the Quran that contradicts many other passages of Scripture.

    4. Hebrews 9:27 says, “And as it is appointed unto ______ once to ______, but after this the ________________.”

    5. Revelation 20:15 says, “And __________________ was not found written in the book of life was ________ into the lake of ________.”

Note: To reject the Lord Jesus Christ does not result in being turned into an animal, but results in being cast into an eternal lake of fire.

    6. Matthew 25:41 says, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, ____________ from me, ye ____________, into everlasting ________, prepared for the devil and his angels.”

Islam – Part 1

Chapter 5

#6 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in the way that husbands are told to treat their wives.

Note: This is what the Quran says in Surah 4:34, “Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what Allah would have them guard. AS TO THOSE WOMEN ON WHOSE PART YE FEAR DISLOYALTY AND ILL-CONDUCT, ADMONISH THEM (FIRST), (NEXT), REFUSE TO SHARE THEIR BEDS, (AND LAST) BEAT THEM (LIGHTLY).”

This is a clear contradiction to what the BIBLE taught in the Old Testament.

The Bible never instructs a man to beat his wife, whether it be heavily or lightly.

There was an instance in the Bible where it appeared that a wife was going to be beaten by her husband, and God intervened on her behalf and smote the man.

    1.   1 Samuel 25:2-3 says, “And there was a man in Maon, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel. Now the name of the man was __________; and the name of his wife ______________: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was ________________ and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.”

Note: The word churlish means, “vulgar; marked by a lack of civility or graciousness; surly; difficult to work with or deal with”        (Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary).

    2.   1 Samuel 25:14-19 says, “But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, saying, Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our master; and he ______________ on them. But the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields: They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep. Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of ____________, that a man cannot __________ to him. Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses. And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.” 3. 1 Samuel 25:35-38 says, “So __________ received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in __________ to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person. And Abigail came to __________; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal’s heart was merry within him, for he was very ______________: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light. But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart ________ within him, and he became as a __________. And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD smote Nabal, that he ________.”

A man better think twice before beating his wife, because God may just

do with him like He did with Nabal, before he could lay a hand upon his wife.

Note: Remember what the Quran said in Surah 4:34? “As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (next), refuse to share their beds, (and last) BEAT THEM (lightly).” That is not what the Bible taught in the Old Testament for husbands to do, who feared that their wives had been unfaithful to them. This is what it taught:

    4. Numbers 5:11-22 says, “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man’s ________ go aside, and commit a trespass against him, And a ______ lie with her carnally, and it be ______ from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; And the spirit of ________________ come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: Then shall the man bring his wife unto the ____________, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance. And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the ________: And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the __________: And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If ____ man have lain with thee, and if thou hast ______ gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou ________ from this bitter water that causeth the curse: But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some ______ have lain with thee beside thine husband: Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to ______, and thy belly to __________; And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.”

Note: You will notice that nowhere does the Bible give a husband permission to hit or beat his wife when he fears that she has been unfaithful to him. The Quran clearly contradicts the Bible in this matter.

Just like in that Old Testament passage, the New Testament

teaches that GOD HIMSELF WILL DEAL WITH ADULTERERS.

    5. Hebrews 13:4 says, “Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed __________________: but whoremongers and ____________________ God will __________.”

Note: The Bible gives clear instructions on how husbands are to treat their wives.

    6. Ephesians 5:25-33 says, “Husbands, ________ your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to ________ their wives as their ______ bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet __________ his own flesh; but nourisheth and ____________________ it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so ________ his wife even as ______________; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

#7 – The Quran contradicts the Bible in the matter of remarriage after a previous divorce, and subsequent remarriage to someone else.

Note: This is what the Quran states in Surah 2:230, “So IF A HUSBAND DIVORCES HIS WIFE (irrevocably), HE CANNOT, AFTER THAT, REMARRY HER UNTIL AFTER SHE HAS MARRIED ANOTHER HUSBAND AND HE HAS DIVORCED HER. In that case there is no blame on either of them if they reunite.” Two verses later, in Surah 2:232, the Quran says, “When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their (Iddah), do not prevent them from marrying their (former) husbands…”

The Quran teaches that if a man divorces his wife, and then decides that he

wants to remarry her, he cannot, unless she first goes out and marries another man,

and then he divorces her. That is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the Bible teaches.

    1. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 24:3-4, “And if the ____________ husband hate her, and write her a bill of ______________________, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband ______, which took her to be his wife; Her ____________ husband, which sent her away, may ______ take her again to be his ________, after that she is defiled; for that is ______________________ before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.”

The Bible clearly teaches that if a husband and wife get divorced, and then one or both

subsequently remarry someone else, they are never to be remarried again to each other

— even if their latter mate(s) die. God says such a practice is an abomination to Him.

Note: The reasoning behind what Muhammad wrote here in the Quran is readily seen. In Islam, you simply cannot have a woman that outshines her husband — that is simply unthinkable. In such a situation as this, that is what you would have — a sinful man who divorced his wife, but later had second thoughts and wanted to remarry her (which shows that there was nothing wrong with the wife in the first place — it was the husband who was in the wrong). Rather than have the husband humble himself and admit to his sin, and be reconciled to his wife, Muhammad wrote that the wife must first go out and remarry another man. Then, that second husband must divorce her. Then, the original husband and wife could remarry. The purpose of this whole unscriptural scheme is to try and remove any and all blame from the man for his sin (in divorcing his wife). And lest there be any doubt as to this conclusion, the Quran makes it very clear: “In that case THERE IS NO BLAME ON EITHER OF THEM if they reunite” (Surah 2:232).

The fact is that there would be no blame on the woman in this situation — the blame

would all be on the man. So to even the score, the wife is forced into marrying another man

(which would mean having intimate relations with him), and then get divorced.

Now, when her former husband wants to remarry her, she has nothing over her husband,

because she has been with another man. This is a very vile and wicked teaching.

The Bible teaches humility, confession of sin, and reconciliation — not forcing

someone else to sin, so that you do not feel guilty about your own sin.

    2. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 says, “And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let ______ the wife ____________ from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain __________________, or be ____________________ to her husband: and let ______ the husband put away his ________.”

Those two verses alone, show that the Quran says

the exact opposite of what the Bible teaches.

Islam – Part 1

Final Test

When you are finished with this test, please return the entire booklet back to us for grading. When it is graded, this booklet will be returned to you, along with the next booklet. May God richly guide you and give you wisdom from your study of this subject.

    1. The founder of Islam was a man by the name of ________________.

    2.  Because of Muhammad’s financially well-off marriage, he had a lot of time to meditate, and he began to have encounters with a ____________.

    3.   2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says “For such are __________ apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for __________ himself is transformed into an __________ of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

    4. We must learn to NEVER put the word of angels before the Word of ______.

    5. The Quran has chapters that are called ____________, and then verses within those chapters.

    6. The Quran says in Surah 5:82, “Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the Believers wilt thou find those who say, ‘We are ____________________’: because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.”

    7. Muhammad noticed that Christians do not hate their enemies, but love them and want to see them __________________.

    8. Muhammad noticed that Christians are people ______________ to learning.

    9. Acts 17:11 says, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all __________________ of mind, and ________________ the scriptures __________, whether those things were so.”

    10.   2 Timothy 2:15 says, “__________ to shew thyself approved unto God, a ______________ that needeth not to be ashamed, ______________ dividing the word of truth.”

    11.   2 Timothy 4:2-4 says, “Preach the ________; be instant ____ season, ______ of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and ________________. For the time will come when they will ______ endure sound ________________; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the __________, and shall be turned unto ____________.”

    12. A fable is “a feigned story or tale, intended to instruct or ___________.” (Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary).

    13. It is the same reason that churches have switched from a man leading the congregational singing, to a group of men and women dancing around on the platform leading the singing. They call them Praise Teams, but they are simply dance troupes. They have met with such success in churches for the same reason that they (dancers) have met with such success in the world — ________. Watching people dance has always stirred up the lust in people.

    14. Here is another indication that many Christians are no longer meeting for instruction, but for entertainment. They come to church with different translations of the Bible, which make it hard to follow along with the one reading. School teachers and professors have more sense than that, in that they require the students to all obtain the same ________________, and a specific edition of it, if more than one is available. Why? Because it is utter confusion to try and teach others who do not have the same textbook.

    15. It would only take one service to decide that if the church is serious about singing, everyone needs the ________ hymnbook.

    16. You will notice in the contemporary church movement that on Sunday evenings, those churches are now beginning to split up into small group studies that often meet in homes, instead of at the church building. They do not have a clue as to why that is getting popular, but the Bible makes it clear  they have been given to confusion (because of the multitude of different Bible translations), and the result of confusion is ____________________ or dispersing.

    17. Muhammad noticed that Christians are people who are willing to love God more than the __________.

    18. Today, Muhammad would see that many Christians dress just like the world, despite what the Bible clearly teaches in Deuteronomy 22:5, “The woman shall not __________ that which pertaineth unto a ______, neither shall a man put on a woman’s ______________: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.”

    19. Even the world knows which bathroom door needs pants on it, and which bathroom door needs a dress on it. But how many Christians do not obey this clear instruction from God to have a clear ______________________ in the way that the genders dress? (Please see Bible Course BC-E-106 for further study on this subject.)

    20. Muslims have been around for many years. Why are they suddenly so antagonistic toward Christians today? One reason is because Christians are so worldly today, that they can no longer respect them like Muhammad once did. They never did respect religion that was mere play and __________________________.

    21. The Quran in Surah 6:70 says, “LEAVE ALONE THOSE WHO TAKE THEIR RELIGION TO BE MERE PLAY AND AMUSEMENT… It will find for itself no __________________?”

    22. If you are in a ________________________ church, YOU are part of the reason why Muslims so hate Christians today. Repent of your great wickedness and come out of that compromise.

    23. The Quran says that ______ named everything, and then just taught Adam what the names were. This is a clear contradiction of what the Bible teaches.

    24. In Genesis 2:19-20, the Bible says that Adam named all the animals. “And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto __________ to see what he would call them: and whatsoever ________ called every living creature, that was the ________ thereof. And Adam gave __________ to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.”

    26. Genesis 3:20 reveals that Adam gave Eve her personal name, “And ________ called his wife’s name ______; because she was the mother of all living.”

    27. The Quran teaches that God taught Adam the names of all the animals, and then turned to the angels to see if they could guess the right names. The Quran says that instead of God telling the angels what the correct names were (when they did not even try to guess the right ones), He then told Adam to tell them the names. The Quran teaches that God then told the angels to bow down to ________ (presumably because he knew the names of the animals, and they did not).

    28. The Quran teaches that Iblis (a name the Quran uses for __________), would not obey God and bow down to Adam.

    29. The Quran contradicts the Bible. God would never instruct one of His beings to fall down and worship another one. Angels are not to bow down to ______, and man is not to bow down to ____________. God alone is worthy of worship.

    30. The Quran teaches that Satan’s fall was in that he would not bow down before __________. That is a contradiction to what the Bible teaches.

    31. Satan’s problem was not that he was jealous of man (because man knew the names of the animals). Satan’s problem was that he was jealous of ______. Satan did not want man’s position — he wanted God’s position.

    32. The Quran says in Surah 6:38, “There is not an animal (the lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and THEY (ALL) SHALL BE GATHERED TO THEIR ________ IN THE END.”

    33. Ecclesiastes 3:21 says, “Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth ____________, and the spirit of the beast that goeth ________________ to the earth?”

    34. The Quran says in Surah 5:6, “Those who incurred the curse of Allah and his wrath, those of whom SOME HE TRANSFORMED INTO ________ AND SWINE.” The Quran teaches here that God cursed some people for their sin and transformed them into apes and swine.

    35. Another passage in the Quran teaches what the sin was. Surah 2:65-66 says, “And well ye knew THOSE AMONGST YOU WHO TRANSGRESSED IN THE MATTER OF THE ______________; we said to them: ‘BE YE APES, DESPISED AND REJECTED.’”

    36. God does not contradict His own law of the kinds. He does not turn disobedient people into ______________.

    37. Numbers 15:32-36 says, “And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the ______________ day. And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to __________: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.”

    38. The Biblical punishment for breaking the sabbath was not being turned into an animal — it was the __________ penalty.

    39. The Quran says in Surah 4:34, “Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what Allah would have them guard. AS TO THOSE WOMEN ON WHOSE PART YE FEAR DISLOYALTY AND ILL-CONDUCT, ADMONISH THEM (FIRST), (NEXT), REFUSE TO SHARE THEIR BEDS, (AND LAST) ________ THEM (LIGHTLY).”

    40. This is a clear contradiction to what the Bible taught in the Old Testament. The Bible never instructs a man to ________ his wife, whether it be heavily or lightly.

    41. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and ____________________ it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

    42. The Quran teaches that if a man divorces his wife, and then decides that he wants to remarry her, he cannot, unless she first goes out and ______________ another man, and then he ________________ her. That is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the Bible teaches.

    43. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 24:3-4, “And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of ______________________, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband ______, which took her to be his wife; Her former husband, which sent her away, may ______ take her again to be his ________, after that she is defiled; for that is ______________________ before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.”

    44. The reasoning behind what Muhammad wrote here in the Quran is readily seen. In Islam, you simply cannot have a woman that outshines her husband — that is simply unthinkable. In such a situation as this, that is what you would have — a sinful man who divorced his wife, but later had second thoughts and wanted to remarry her (which shows that there was ______________ wrong with the ________ in the first place — it was the husband who was in the wrong).

    45. Rather than have the husband humble himself and admit to his sin, and be reconciled to his wife, Muhammad wrote that the wife must first go out and remarry another man. Then, that second husband must divorce her. Then, the original husband and wife could remarry. The purpose of this whole unscriptural scheme is to try and remove any and all __________ from the man for his sin (in divorcing his wife). And lest there be any doubt as to this conclusion, the Quran makes it very clear: “In that case THERE IS NO __________ ON EITHER OF THEM if they reunite” (Surah 2:232).

    46. The fact is that there would be no blame on the woman in this situation — the blame would all be on the man. So to even the score, the wife is forced into ________________ another man (which would mean having intimate relations with him), and then get divorced. Now, when her former husband wants to remarry her, she has nothing over her husband, because she has been with another man. This is a very vile and wicked teaching. The Bible teaches humility, ____________________ of sin, and ____________________________ — not forcing someone else to sin, so that you do not feel guilty about your own sin.

    47. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 says, “And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let ______ the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain __________________, or be ____________________ to her husband: and let ______ the husband put away his ________.”
