    1. Mark 6:11 says, “And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be ________    __________________ for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”

    2. The NIV leaves out the last ____ words of that verse, just like the Jehovah’s Witnesses did in their translation.

    3. The Great White Throne Judgment is not to determine whether a person is saved or lost — only ________ people appear at that judgment. The purpose of that judgment is to determine the ____________ of torment that a person will suffer for all of eternity. That is why it is determined by a person’s __________. Each person will receive the EXACT DEGREE of punishment that he/she deserves.

    4. What about the NIV? It has removed these 23 words from this verse, and is thereby not ______________ people that if they reject people who are trying to give them the ____________, that they will have more ______________ in the lake of fire than the wicked sinners of Sodom.

    5. 1 John 4:3 says, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the __________ is not of God: and this is that spirit of ____________________, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

    6. They (the NIV translators) have totally removed the fact, once again, that Jesus Christ CAME IN THE __________. If anyone denies this fact, then the verse is clear that he “is not of ______.” If anyone denies that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, then that is “that spirit of antichrist.”

    7. Psalm 12:6-7 says, “The __________ of the LORD are ________ words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt ________ them, O LORD, thou shalt ________________ them from this generation for ________.”

    8. They (the NIV translators) changed the promise of preservation to refer to ____________, instead of to the Word of God.

    9. The NIV translators did not use the normal ____________________ rule in this case, but totally skipped over verse 6, and tried to twist the previous verses to refer to people instead of to words.

    10. How were the wicked being exalted? Through their __________. So the Lord will deal with those wicked people. How? “The LORD shall CUT OFF all flattering LIPS, and the TONGUE that SPEAKETH proud things.” It then contrasts God’s pure Word (that which will be preserved forever), with the words of the wicked (those words which God will cut off).

    11. Sometimes people who hold fast to the King James Bible as the pure Word of God without error, are accused of being in a ________. What is a cult? A cult is a group of people that blindly follow ______ — not the ________ of God. The King James crowd is not a cult. They are simply holding fast to what God has promised in His Word. If anyone is part of a cult between these two groups (the NIV verses the KJV), it is the NIV crowd. They are blindly following men who are butchering the Word of God, and all the while these people are defending their actions.

    12. It is noble Christians (not cultists), who demand that all teaching submit to the __________________ of God’s Word. It is the cultists who allow the word of their ______________ to become the authority.

    13.    2 Timothy 2:15 says, “__________ to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

    14. The NIV says, “Do your ________ to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”

    15. What is so hard to understand about the word study? Is that an Old English word? The translators of the NIV followed the Jehovah’s Witnesses with the same thought. The word study means, “a ______________ examination or analysis” (Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary). People are prone to give ______________ when they do not do well on a test. They may say that they “did their ________” or “did their utmost,” but the fact remains that many times they did not really study the material — they did not do “a careful examination or analysis” of the material.

    16. John 3:13 says, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is ____   ____________.”

    17. The NIV says, “No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.” How can any honest Christian defend what the NIV translators have done? The Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe that Jesus is God Almighty, that is why they removed those four words “which is in heaven.” Why did the NIV translators ____________ those four words? What is the importance of those four words? They prove that Jesus is not just “a god” upon earth, but the Almighty God which is present ____________________ in heaven and earth. No one can be present on earth and in heaven at the same time, unless that one is ______ Almighty.

    18. Acts 3:25 says, “Unto you first God, having raised up his ______ Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.”

    19. The NIV says, “When God raised up his ______________, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

    20. The word son has not changed to servant. That is not an Old English word that needs updating. A ______ has full rights and authority, but a servant does not. The resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ does not give a picture of servant hood, but of great authority and __________.

    21. Romans 1:3-4 says, “Concerning his ______ Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the ______ of God with __________, according to the spirit of holiness, by the ________________________ from the dead.”

    22. Hebrews 3:15-17 says, “While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For ________, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit ______ ______ that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?”

    23. The NIV says, “As has just been said: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.” Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not ______ those Moses led out of Egypt?”

    24. The little children who have paid attention in Sunday School could tell you that the NIV has made a __________ statement here. They know that not everyone who came out of Egypt rebelled — they know that __________ and __________ did not.

    25. Hebrews 2:16 says, “For verily he took not on him the ____________ of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”

    26. The NIV says, “For surely it is not angels he __________, but Abraham’s descendants.”

    27. This is but another example of how the translators of the NIV have corrupted verses that deal with the deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ. This verse clearly teaches that Jesus did not come to earth as an ______________ being.

    28. We can understand the Jehovah’s Witnesses wanting to change this passage, because they do not accept that the Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty, came in the flesh to redeem man-kind. The Jehovah’s Witnesses say, “The foremost angel, both in power and authority is the archangel, Jesus Christ, also called Michael.” (The Watchtower, Nov. 1, 1995, p. 8 - http://www.afcministry.com/What_do_Jehovahs_Witnesses_believe.htm). What the translators of the NIV have done here is ________ or assist the cults in their __________ teaching.

    29. By making this change, the NIV translators have made another error and have made a false statement. They have stated that God does not ________ angels. That is not true. God does help angels, or angels would be unable to do anything. Angels are not omnipotent (the prefix omni means “all,” and the word potent means “power” —all powerful) beings. They depend upon God for their ________________, just like we do.

    30. Jude 1:9 says, “Yet Michael the __________________, when ____________________ with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The ________ rebuke thee.” We find here that Michael the archangel was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses. Michael did NOT try to REBUKE the devil in his own power, but called upon the Lord to do it, “The Lord rebuke thee.” God does give help to His angels, or they would have no power. The NIV translators have made an absolutely false statement here.

    31. Isaiah 14:12-15 says, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O ______________, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to ________, to the sides of the pit.”

    32. The NIV says, “How you have fallen from heaven, O ______________   ________, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!”

    33. The NIV translators took away the name Lucifer and replaced it with a title used of the Lord Jesus Christ — morning star. Revelation 22:16 says, “I __________ have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and ______________   ________.”

    34. Has Lucifer now become the Savior of the world who is worthy to be worshipped? No, but that is exactly what he is going to set himself up as in the Tribulation Period, and will cause all to receive his mark and will demand that all worship him. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 says, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of ______ be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and ________________   ______________ above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that ____ as God sitteth in the ____________ of God, shewing himself that he is God."

    35. To further the weakening and corrupting of this passage, the NIV translators changed the word hell to the word __________. Is that the end of Lucifer -- the grave? No, the end of Lucifer is the torment of hell -- the Lake of Fire. Matthew 25:41 says, "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into ______________________    ________, prepared for the __________ and his angels."

    36. Luke 4:4 says, "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every ________ of ______."

    37. The NIV translators followed the lead of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and removed the last ______ words of the verse "but by every word of God."  Man knows that he does not live by bread alone, but the NIV and the NWT do not tell him what he does need to live eternally -- the Word of God. 1 Peter 1:23 says, "Being ________   __________, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the ________ of ______, which liveth and abideth for ever."

    38. Titus 3:10-11 says, "A man that is an ________________ after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself."

    39. The NIV says, "Warn a ________________ person."  Does heretick and divisive mean the same thing? No. The word heretic means, "a dissenter from established religious dogma; one who dissents from an accepted belief or doctrine" (Merriam-Webster?s 11th Collegiate Dictionary). The word divisive means "creating disunity or dissension" (Merriam-Webster?s 11th Collegiate Dictionary).

   40. This change that the NIV has made to this verse becomes deadly to a church, because it makes the real enemy disunity -- not doctrinal error. Now, anyone who dares to say that something is not scripturally right, is accused of creating ________________ in the church.

    41. Revelation 5:9-10 says, "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed ____ to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made ____ unto our God kings and priests: and ____ shall reign on the earth.”

    42. The NIV makes it all impersonal, “...you purchased MEN for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made THEM to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and THEY will reign on the earth.” The NIV has people singing in heaven that are evidently not able to make the song ________________. The error here is clear — no one will be in heaven who is not ____________________ redeemed.

    43. Revelation 5:14 says, “And the four beasts said, Amen. And the ________ and ____________ elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.”   

    44. “The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped.” What is missing in the NIV in this verse? First, the ____________ of the elders. Is it beyond the average person’s ability to count to 24? If the translators were trying to update Old English, why did they make this change?

    45. Revelation 22:19 says, “And if any man shall take ________ from the __________ of the book of this prophecy, God shall take ________ his part ______ of the book of ________, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

    46. These verses are very clear that anyone who would tamper with God’s Word and ____________ parts of it, is not truly __________. We often use Revelation 22:19 to warn people of the seriousness of what these new translations do, in removing words, verses, and whole passages from the Bible. In response, the statement is often made, “Oh, that only refers to the Book of Revelation!” Well, here the NIV translators have ______________ words from the Book of ____________________.

    47. Hebrews 1:7 says, “And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels ______________, and his ministers a flame of fire.”

    48. The NIV says, “In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels __________, his servants flames of fire.” According to the NIV, are angels real beings, or are they just a part of ____________ — part of the wind? Some groups believe that departed souls become a part of nature — the trees, the wind, the sky, etc.. What that does is cause people to worship nature. Angels are not a part of nature — they are real, living beings.

    49. Luke 4:38-44 says, “And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her. And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. ... And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of ______________.”

    50.The NIV says, “And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of __________.” The KJV says that Jesus preached in the synagogues of Galilee after He healed Peter’s mother-in-law. The NIV says that He preached in the synagogues of Judea. If you will look on a map, that is quite a difference. Galilee is way up by the Sea of Galilee, and Judea is way down by the Dead Sea. One of the translations is wrong. The KJV is right, because Peter’s house was in Galilee — not Judea.

    51. The NIV contradicts itself between Luke 4:38-44 and Mark 1:28-39. They said Judea in Luke 4:44, but Galilee in Mark 1:39. The NIV says in Mark 1:28-39, “News about him spread quickly over the whole region of ______________. As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew. Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus about her. So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them. ... So he traveled throughout ______________, PREACHING IN THEIR SYNAGOGUES and driving out demons.”

    52. You do not have to be a scholar in manuscript evidence to discern which translation of the Bible is the right one. Just study them carefully, and remember the following verses of Scripture. Proverbs 30:5-6 says, “__________   ________ of God is ________: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. ______ thou ______ unto his __________, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a ________.” The NIV translators both removed and added to God’s Word, and we see that the above Scripture has been fulfilled — they are found to be liars. They have printed that which is not true. They have created contradictions even within their own translation.

Are you certain that if you died today, you would go to heaven?

 

1. Do you realize that you have sinned?

(Romans 3:23)  "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

(1 John 1:8)   "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

(Ecclesiastes 7:20)   "For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not."

 

2. Do you realize the penalty for your sin?

(Romans 6:23)   "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

 

3. Do you realize that if you die in your sin, you will go to hell?

(Psalms 9:17)   "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."

(Proverbs 15:24)   "The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath."

(Luke 12:4-5)   "And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.   But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."

 

4. Do you realize that the Lord Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, paid that death penalty for you?

(Matthew 1:21-23)    "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.    Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,     Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."

(John 14:6-7)    "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.   If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."

(John 3:16)    "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

(Romans 5:8)   "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

(1 Peter 3:18)   "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit."

(1 Peter 2:24)   "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed."

 

5. Do you realize that it is only through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ that you can be saved, and not through any good works of your own?

(1 John 1:7)   "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

(1 Peter 1:18-19)   "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;    But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot."

(Ephesians 2:8-9)   "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:    Not of works, lest any man should boast."

(Titus 3:5-7)   "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;   Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;   That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

 

6. Do you realize that after Jesus died for your sins, He arose victorious from the grave the third day, proving that His sacrifice was sufficient to pay for all of the sins of the whole world?

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4)    "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;   By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;   And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

 

7. Do you realize that to be saved you must repent (you must have the desire to turn from your sin and false beliefs, and have the desire for God to transform your life)?

(Luke 13:3)   "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

(Acts 3:19)   "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord."

(Acts 26:20)   "But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance."

(Mark 9:43-48)   "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:   Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.   And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:   Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.   And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:   Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

 

8. Do you realize that after you get saved, God's first command for you is to get baptized and then to live for Him?

(Acts 2:41)   "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls."

(Romans 6:1-4)   "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?   God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?   Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?    Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life."

(2 Corinthians 5:17)    "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

(Titus 3:3-8)   "For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.   But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,   Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;   Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;   That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.   This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."

(Titus 2:11-14)    "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,   Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;   Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;   Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11)   "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,   Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.   And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."

(Galatians 5:19-26)   "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,   Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,   Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,    Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.   And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.   If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.   Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

(1 Corinthians 11:14-15)   "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?    But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering."

(Deuteronomy 22:5)   "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God."

(Ephesians 4:22-32)   "That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;   And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;   And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.    Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.   Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:   Neither give place to the devil.   Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.   Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.   And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.   Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:    And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

 

9. Are you ready to now ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you of all your sins, and to save you?

(John 1:12)   "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."

(Romans 10:9-11)   "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.    For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed."

(Romans 10:13)   "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

(1 John 5:13)   "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

 

 

ATTENTION:    If you die before you make this decision, then you will spend eternity in the torment of hell fire.  Turn from your wickedness and sin, and humble yourself before Almighty God right now.

Bow your head right now and confess to God that you are a sinner deserving judgment.  Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you of all your sins, and to save you.  Tell Him that you now repent, and ask Him to cleanse your life, and to give you the power to live for Him.  Tell Him that you are trusting in His shed blood alone to cleanse you from all your sin.  Ask Him to lead you to a good, Bible-preaching church, where you can follow the first command after salvation — that of getting baptized and publicly confessing your faith in Him.  Ask Him to help you find some good Christian friends to encourage you in the faith and to help you grow.
