If Jesus is God, then how can He be the beginning of the creation of God?

Question:

Hello, I have a question concerning Revelation’s 3:14. At the end of the verse, Jesus says “The beginning of the creation of God.” I understand that he is quoting his names. This is out of the K.J.V. If he is the beginning, then he was a created being. I am confused, because I believe him to be God the Son — never created, but Creator. Can you please help me with this? Thank You.Continue reading

What color are Jesus and God?

Question:

In this world where color and race seem to matter so much to everyone, I was just wondering where in the Bible does it say what color Jesus and God are?

Answer:

First, God is a Spirit, so He is neither white or black. John 4:24 says, “GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” A spirit does not have flesh and bones. Luke 24:39 says, “Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for A SPIRIT HATH NOT FLESH AND BONES, as ye see me have.”Continue reading

Did Jesus ever get married?

Question:

There seem to be questions as to whether or not Jesus was married. As far as I know, there are no references indicating that he was. Do you have references to this question?

Answer:

The Bible is clear that Jesus never got married. It would have been impossible for Jesus to get married, according to the Scripture, because that union would thus have produced another offspring that was “God in the flesh.”Continue reading

Has Jesus always sat on the right hand of God?

Question:

HAS JESUS ALWAYS SAT ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE POWER OF GOD?

Answer:

Ever since He died and was resurrected, He has been seated there. Romans 8:34 says, “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Is seeing Jesus, seeing the Father?

Question:

While going through your list of questions that were already asked I read where someone asked if GOD and JESUS were equal and you said yes that JESUS is GOD. My question is does ths mean that man was looking on the face of GOD when they were face to face with JESUS. I’m very confused.

Answer:

Yes, Jesus is God Almighty, and if people had seen Jesus, then they had seen the Father. John 14:7-9 says, “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and FROM HENCEFORTH YE KNOW HIM, AND HAVE SEEN HIM. Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? HE THAT HATH SEEN ME HATH SEEN THE FATHER; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” John 12:44,45 says, “Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And HE THAT SEETH ME SEETH HIM THAT SENT ME.”
