How does the Koran compare to the Bible?

I’ve heard that the Bible is number 1 as far as translated through history but it did not mention the Koran. I was wondering how it stood up? and how far does it date back in history compared to the Bible?

No book dates back as far as the Bible, because the Bible deals with the creation of all things in the very beginning. “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).

The Koran was written by a man named Muhammad, who was not even born until 570 A.D. — that is almost 600 years after Christ was here upon earth. So the Koran came along about 500 years after the Bible was totally completed. It is said that God gave His Word over a period of about 1,600 years. That would mean that the Koran was written over 2,000 years after the Bible was started, and about 500 years after the Bible was totally completed.

The Bible is the standard by which all books should be measured. Isaiah 8:20 says, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” There is no light in the Koran. Read the King James Bible for light. Psalm 119:105, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” It will show you the true “Light of the World,” the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Have you come to Christ? John 3:16-20 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” Repent of your sin, and place your faith in Christ alone to save you. Psalm 34:8 says, “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”
