Can I stop Adultery?

Question:

How can one stop adultery when one is very deep in it?

Answer:

Thanks for your question.  God wants to hear people that are deep in sin, desiring to get out of it.  The Bible says, “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, TURN YE FROM YOUR EVIL WAYS; FOR WHY WILL YE DIE, O house of Israel?” (Holy Bible, Ezekiel 33:11).  That tells you God’s desire.  He does not want you to die in your sin.  He wants you to turn from your sin to Him, and live. Should I leave my wife?

Question:

What is an affair? Can God forgive me? I have fallen in love with a woman, and I’m married. I have 3 children as well. 15yrs married… I saw a woman, who was new to this country, and we looked into each other’s eyes and I was lost… we both cry a lot because we can not be together, and love God at the same time. We want to stop seeing each other until I get divorced. I feel as if this is the answer. I know it seems wrong, but there are many things wrong in the world. I want to be close to my children. But I need to leave the home for now. I will be a part of their lives, everyday. I will not let my fathering duties be overshadowed by this change… So what to do? I ask for the best way to handle this in God’s eyes. He has given us the ability to chose, now what?Continue reading
