What is TPS?

 

Toilet Paper Syndrome.  DO NOT LAUGH—IT IS REAL, and EXTREMELY CONTAGIOUS.

 

What caused TPS?

 

Coronavirus was raging in China, and everyone heard how Wuhan was in lockdown.  Then the virus started appearing in the United States.  Professional sports events were suddenly cancelled, and colleges were closed.

 

TPS symptoms began to appear—people began to fill their grocery carts with toilet paper, instead of food.

 

Governors began closing public schools.  All large gatherings were banned, and TPS quickly went viral into full panic mode.

A man and his wife were in the grocery store, staring at the empty shelves in the toilet paper aisle.  On the opposite side of that shelving, in the next aisle over, was the bread aisle.  Those shelves were half full, and stacks of trays filled with fresh bread were being used to fill the rest of the empty shelves.

 

In an pandemic situation, why would anyone buy up toilet paper first—even before food?

 

The answer to that question is found written in an ancient Book: “Man shall not live by BREAD alone, but by every WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD.” (Holy Bible, Matt. 4:4b, KJV).

What has God said that could be more important to man than food?  “The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the MAKER of them all.” (Holy Bible, Proverbs 22:2, KJV).  “Remember now thy CREATOR.” (Holy Bible, Ecc. 12:1, KJV).

The Lord is our Maker and Creator—we are all going to answer to Him one day.  “So then EVERY ONE of us shall GIVE ACCOUNT of HIMSELF to GOD.” (Holy Bible, Romans 14:12, KJV).  “And as it is appointed unto men ONCE to DIE, but after this the JUDGMENT.” (Holy Bible, Hebrews 9:27, KJV).

 

People generally try to suppress any feelings of guilt, and they try to justify their own actions.

 

But when we stand before God, we are going to face the truth: “They are ALL GONE ASIDE, they are ALL together become FILTHY: there is NONE that DOETH GOOD, no, not one.” (Holy Bible, Psalm 14:3, KJV).  “But we are ALL as an UNCLEAN THING, and ALL our RIGHTEOUSNESSES are as FILTHY RAGS.” (Holy Bible, Isaiah 64:6a, KJV).

When Isaiah saw the Lord, he  said, “WOE IS ME! for I am un-done; because I AM A MAN OF UNCLEAN LIPS.” (Holy Bible, Isaiah 6:1b, 5a, KJV).

What about your lips?  Does this also describe you?  “Whose MOUTH is FULL of CURSING and bitterness.” (Holy Bible, Romans 3:14, KJV).  “BE SURE YOUR SIN WILL FIND YOU OUT.” (Holy Bible, Numbers 32:23b).

 

When the scare of Coronavirus, and the prospect of quarantine and isolation became a reality, people quickly saw their own filthiness as the greatest need.

 

My friend, because of your sins, because of your uncleanness, you are facing eternal isolation and torment in the lake of fire, separated from God for ever and ever.  “But your iniquities have SEPARATED between YOU and your GOD, and YOUR SINS have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” (Holy Bible, Isaiah 59:2, KJV).

 

But God will hear you, if you call on Him today to forgive you and to cleanse you of all your sins.

 

“For he saith, I HAVE HEARD THEE in a TIME ACCEPTED, and in the DAY of SALVATION have I succoured thee: behold, NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; behold, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.” (Holy Bible, 2 Corinthians 6:2, KJV).

“The WAGES of SIN is DEATH.” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:23, KJV).  Jesus paid that wage for you, when He died on the cross for your sins.  “The BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST his Son CLEANSETH US from ALL SIN.” (Holy Bible, 1 John 1:7, KJV).  Jesus arose from the grave, because His pure and sinless blood paid for all of our sins.  Repent of your sins, and ask Jesus to forgive you and to save you.  “REPENT ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.” (Holy Bible, Acts 3:19a, KJV).  “For whosoever shall CALL upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Holy Bible, Romans 10:13, KJV).

Jesus is the Son of God, God Almighty in the flesh, the Creator of heaven and earth—you will answer to Him one day.  Jesus is the only Savior—He died on the cross for you, and gave His pure, sinless blood to pay your sin debt.  Jesus arose from the grave the third day, proving that His sacrifice fully paid the debt of your sin—because He lives.  Repent of your sins, and ask Jesus to save you right now. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Holy Bible, Romans 10:13, KJV)   This may be your last chance to call.

Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me, and I desire to now live for Him.
