What is Coronavirus COVID-19?

A lower respiratory infection—lungs and chest (a regular cold is upper respiratory—runny nose and sinus congestion).  Top three symptoms: fever, dry cough, fatigue.  More serious symptoms: coughing up phlegm, shortness of breath. (WebMD).  It has spread world-wide, and many have died.  New strains of the virus are emerging, rendering first vaccinations ineffective.

Where/how did it start?

Scientists at Peking University claimed that they traced the virus to snakes being sold at a meat market in Wuhan, China—but many sources are now claiming that the virus was a leak from a high level bio-lab located there. (health24.com) (asiatimes.com)

God knows the correct answer.

Just before this outbreak, Wuhan hosted the 7th Military World Summer Games, October 18-27, 2019.

In preparation for these games, Chinese leaders made a sweep of Wuhan, and closed down churches, and removed all crosses from sight.  They told residents, “President Xi Jinping hates to see crosses!”

A church leader appealed, based upon their constitutional rights, and the official replied, “Don’t talk about the Constitution anymore.  You should follow the Party.” (Communist Party) bitterwinter.org/religious-suppression-surges-ahead-of-military-world-games).

So what happened when they removed Christ and the cross from that city?

Wuhan was then hit by this pestilence, “a contagious or infectious epidemic disease” (Webster’s 1913 Dict.). Rejecting Christ and the cross—brings you bondage to the devil.  “That old SERPENT, called the DEVIL, and SATAN, which deceiveth the whole world.” (Holy Bible, Revelation 12:9b, KJV).  “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the DEVIL, who are TAKEN CAPTIVE by HIM at his WILL.” (Holy Bible, 2 Timothy 2:26, KJV)

Under a microscope, the corona-virus is identified by a characteristic CROWN of tentacles.

When you reject Christ as your Savior and King, you place the crown on the devil—and you will find that his crown has tentacles.

Satan’s goal is to remove Christ and the cross from people’s thoughts, so that he can reign over God’s creation.  Satan said, “I will EXALT MY THRONE above the stars of God.” But God said, “Yet thou shalt be brought DOWN to HELL, to the sides of the pit.” (Holy Bible, Isaiah 14:13-15, KJV).

Will that also be your end?

Have you tried to remove Christ and the cross from your life?  “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, DEPART from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the DEVIL and his angels.” (Holy Bible, Matthew 25:41, KJV).

Does the story sound familiar?

It is a repeat of what happened when God first created the world.  Satan (the snake), came along and tempted Eve to disobey God.  She sinned—and then it spread to Adam—and now it has spread to us!  “And so DEATH PASSED UPON ALL MEN, for that ALL have SINNED.” (Holy Bible, Romans 5:12, KJV).

Likewise, when President Xi and his men rejected Christ and the cross, great harm spread worldwide.

Do not reject Jesus—He died on the cross to pay for your sins.  “The WAGES of SIN is DEATH.” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:23a, KJV). “CHRIST DIED for OUR SINS.” (Holy Bible, 1 Cor. 15:3b, KJV)

Quarantine / Isolation

Loss of Freedoms

God is trying to get you to wake up.  Many have died, and millions have faced isolation and the loss of freedoms, because of this pestilence.  You will spend eternity confined to isolation and suffering, if you reject Jesus Christ as your Savior.  “SUFFERING the vengeance of ETERNAL FIRE.”  “To whom is reserved the BLACKNESS of DARKNESS FOR EVER.” (Holy Bible, Jude 7b, 13b, KJV).

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God; Creator of heaven and earth.  He is God Almighty in the flesh: Master, Savior, and Messiah.  He died on the cross for you, and gave His pure, sinless blood to pay your sin debt.  The Lord Jesus Christ arose from the grave the third day, proving that His blood fully paid for your sins.  To be saved, you must CALL upon Him from your HEART.  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED.”  “For whosoever shall CALL upon the NAME of the LORD shall be SAVED” (Holy Bible, Romans 10:9,13, KJV).

After we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save us, then God instructs us to openly confess Him by getting baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  When we go under the water, it pictures death to the old life of sin, and when we come up out of the water, it pictures a new life serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me, and I desire to now live for Him.
