If you can lose your salvation,
then God is a liar.
Jesus said, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT” (Holy Bible, John 6:37, KJV). He said that if a person comes to Him, He “will in no wise” (not for any reason) cast him out. If God takes away any person’s salvation, then God would be a liar.
If you can lose your salvation,
then God Is a LOSER.
Jesus said, “And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I SHOULD LOSE NOTHING, but should raise it up again at the last day” (Holy Bible, John 6:39, KJV). Jesus said that He will “lose nothing,” (that every person who comes to Him for salvation, He will save, and keep saved—He will not lose one of them). If you can lose your salvation, then God would be a liar and a loser.
If you can lose your salvation,
then GOD IS WEAK.
Jesus said, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND” (Holy Bible, John 10:28,29, KJV). Jesus said that when we are saved we are in His hand, and in the Father’s hand. Is there anyone strong enough to pluck us out of the hand of Jesus or the Father? The answer is obviously, “No.” If anyone can take you out of God’s hand—or if you can get out yourself, then you are saying that someone else, or you, is stronger than God. That would make God a liar, a loser, and a weakling.
If you can lose your salvation,
then GOD’S WORD IS FALSE.
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him SHOULD NOT PERISH, but have EVERLASTING LIFE” (Holy Bible, John 3:16, KJV). If you can perish (in the sense of losing your salvation), then such a promise would be totally false.
If you can lose your salvation,
then GOD’S GIFT HAS A FALSE GUARANTEE.
“For the wages of sin is death; but THE GIFT OF GOD is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:23, KJV). If salvation can be lost, then you never received ETERNAL life, but TEMPORARY life. If salvation can be lost, it is temporary—not eternal.
If you can lose your salvation,
then GOD CAN NEVER
GIVE IT BACK to you.
“For it is IMPOSSIBLE… if they shall FALL AWAY, to RENEW them again unto REPENTANCE; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Holy Bible, Hebrews 6:4-6, KJV). IF it were POSSIBLE to FALL AWAY (to lose their salvation) then it would also be IMPOSSIBLE TO EVER GET IT BACK. Why? Because it would be crucifying to themselves the Son of God afresh, and putting Him to an open shame. If Jesus’ one sacrifice on the cross was not enough to save them and to keep them saved, then Jesus would have to again go through all of the humility, shame, spitting, beating, and death.
If you can lose your salvation,
then YOUR TRUST IS NOT IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE
If you believe that salvation can be lost, then you are not trusting 100% in the Lord Jesus Christ. What you are trusting in is: 1) Jesus to save you; 2) Yourself to be good enough to keep saved.
Stop, right now, and place your faith, 100% in the Lord Jesus Christ, and in Him alone, to save you, and to keep you saved. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:8-9, KJV).
Who is Jesus? He is the Son of God; God in the flesh; Creator of heaven and earth. He is Lord, which means Master; He is Jesus, which means Savior; He is the Christ, which means Messiah. He died on the cross for you, and gave His pure, sinless blood to pay the wages of your sin, which is death. He then arose from the grave the third day, proving that His blood fully paid for your sins.
To be SAVED, you must CALL upon Him from your HEART. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED.” “For WHOSOEVER shall CALL upon the NAME of the LORD shall be SAVED” (Holy Bible, Romans 10:9,13, KJV).
After we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save us, then God instructs us to openly confess Him by getting baptized under the water, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:4, KJV).
Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save me, and I do desire to now get baptized, and to live a new life for God.
