TEXT VERSION

If you can lose your salvation,

then  God  is  a  liar.

Jesus said, “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT” (Holy Bible, John 6:37, KJV).  He said that if a person comes to Him, He “will in no wise” (not for any reason) cast him out.  If God takes away any person’s salvation, then God is a liar.

If you can lose your salvation,

then  God  Is  a  LOSER.

Jesus said, “And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I SHOULD LOSE NOTHING, but should raise it up again at the last day” (Holy Bible, John 6:39, KJV).  Jesus said that He will “lose nothing,” (that every person who comes to Him for salvation, He will save and keep saved — He will not lose one of them).  If you can lose your salvation, then God is a liar and a loser.

If you can lose your salvation,

then  GOD  IS  WEAK.

Jesus said, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND.  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND” (Holy Bible, John 10:28,29, KJV).  Jesus said that when we are saved we are in His hand, and in the Father’s hand.  Is there anyone strong enough to pluck us out of the hand of Jesus or the Father?  The answer is obviously, “No.”  If anyone can take you out of God’s hand, or if you can get out yourself, then you are saying that someone else — or you — is stronger than God.  That would make God a liar, and a loser, and a weakling.

If you can lose your salvation,

then  GOD’S  WORD  IS  FALSE.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him SHOULD NOT PERISH, but have EVERLASTING LIFE” (Holy Bible, John 3:16, KJV).  If you can perish (in the sense of losing your salvation), then such a promise is totally false.

If you can lose your salvation,

then  GOD’S  GIFT  HAS  A  FALSE  GUARANTEE.

“For the wages of sin is death; but THE GIFT OF GOD is ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:23, KJV).  If salvation can be lost, then you never received eternal life, but temporary life.  If it can be lost, it is temporary — not eternal.

If you can lose your salvation,

then  GOD  CAN  NEVER

GIVE  IT  BACK.

“For it is impossible… if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Holy Bible, Hebrews 6:4-6, KJV).  Notice carefully that if it were possible to fall away (for people to lose their salvation) then it would also be impossible to ever renew them again unto repentance (impossible for them to ever get their salvation back).  Why?  Because it would be crucifying to themselves the Son of God afresh, and putting Him to an open shame.  If Jesus’ one sacrifice on the cross was not enough to save them and to keep them saved, then Jesus would have to again go through all of the humility, shame, spitting, beating, and death.  That is putting Jesus to an open shame, by denying that His first sacrifice was good enough to eternally save them.

If you can lose your salvation,

then  GOD  IS  NOT  REALLY  YOUR  ONLY  SAVIOR

“This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?  ARE YE SO FOOLISH? HAVING BEGUN IN THE SPIRIT, ARE YE NOW MADE PERFECT BY THE FLESH?” (Holy Bible, Galatians 3:2,3, KJV).  If you believe that Jesus saves you, but then you have to maintain good works (not sinning) to keep saved, then your salvation is not based fully upon Jesus Christ, but upon a 50/50 proposition — the first 50% on Jesus Christ to save you, and the last 50% on yourself to maintain good works so you keep saved.  You are not fully trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ, but in your own unfinished works.  Bow your head right now, repent of your sins, and accept the gift of salvation through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Dear Lord Jesus, I do believe that you are the Son of God; that you are God Almighty in the flesh, the Creator of heaven and earth.  I do believe that you are the only Savior; that you died on the cross for me, and gave your precious blood to pay my sin debt; and then you arose from the grave the third day.  I do now repent of my sins, and receive you as my Savior.  Please forgive me, and save my soul.  Please raise up my life from sin and shame, and use it now for your glory.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to

save me, and I desire to now live for Him.
