Does the List Ever End?

No, every year you will have another list.  Every year you will want or need something new.  “The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing” (Holy Bible, Ecclesiastes 1:8, KJV).

That is why you get tired of looking at your car, and soon find that another one looks better.

That is why people build a brand new home, but soon sell and want another one, because they find another style that looks better.

That is why many marriages break apart, because one mate gets tired of looking at the other, and begins to think that another person looks better.

That is why you get tired of listening to the same songs, because your ears are not satisfied with hearing.  You want something that sounds better.

Why don’t you accept the gift that really satisfies?

“For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness” (Holy Bible, Psalm 107:9, KJV).  That is Jesus.

Why don’t you accept the gift that never grows old?

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Holy Bible, Hebrews 13:8, KJV).

Why don’t you accept the gift that is guaranteed forever?

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand” (Holy Bible, John 10:28, KJV).  That is the gift of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Why don’t you accept the gift that can never be recalled?

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (Holy Bible, John 6:37, KJV).  If you will come to the Lord Jesus, He will save you.

Why don’t you accept this gift from Someone that will

never get tired of you?

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Holy Bible, Hebrews 13:5, KJV).

Why don’t you quit trying to work your way to heaven,

when the Bible is so clear

that salvation is a gift?

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT OF GOD:Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Holy Bible, Ephesians 2:8,9, KJV).

Repent and receive the gift of Christmas.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, our Creator, God Almighty in the flesh.  “Lord” means “Master.”  Do you desire to repent of your sin and obey the Lord?  “Jesus” means “Saviour.”  Do you realize that your good works cannot pay for your sins?  “For the wages of sin is death.” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:23a, KJV)  It is Jesus that loves you, and died on the cross for you, and gave His pure, sinless blood to pay the wages of your sin.  The name “Christ” means “Messiah.”  He is coming again—and it could be at any moment.  Are you ready for His coming?  The proof that Jesus successfully paid the wages of your sins, is the fact that He arose from the grave.  “He was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” (Holy Bible, 1 Corinthians 15:4b, KJV)

To be saved, you must call upon the Lord Jesus Christ from your heart.  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED.”  “For whosoever shall CALL upon the NAME of the LORD shall be SAVED” (Holy Bible, Romans 10:9,13, KJV).

Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ right now.  Ask Him to forgive you, and to cleanse you, and to save you.

After we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save us, then God instructs us to openly confess Him by getting baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4, KJV)

Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive me and to save me, and I do want to walk in that newness of life now.
