TEXT VERSION

Did you know that this is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy?

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves.” (Holy Bible, 2 Timothy 3:1-2a, KJV)

When we see these things, God tells us that we are “…in the last days”—the days just before God’s judgment falls upon this sinful world.  What will happen to you?

What will be seen in the last days?  “For men shall be lovers of their own selves.”

God tells us to act differently, “In lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” (Holy Bible, Philippians 2:3b, KJV)

Some of these groups get violent when others will not put them first.  “In the last days perilous times shall come.”  The word perilous means “dangerous; hazardous; full of risk.” (Noah Webster’s 1828 Dictionary)  These people sometimes cause riots; injure people; burn buildings; smash cars; block roads, etc.

Do not follow that crowd.  “Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.” (Holy Bible, Exodus 23:2a, KJV)

What do we all deserve?

Promotions?  Reparations?  Free education?  Free housing?  Free health care?  Free food?

There were two thieves crucified, one on either side of Jesus.  One of those thieves mocked Jesus, but the other one said this to him, “Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  And we indeed justly; for we receive the DUE REWARD of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.” (Holy Bible, Luke 23:40b-41a, KJV)

What is the due reward

of our deeds?

“For the wages of sin is death.” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:23a, KJV)  “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Holy Bible, Ezekiel 18:20a, KJV)  That is the due reward of our deeds.  This death is not just physical death, but eternal death and torment in the lake of fire.

Have you ever lied?

This is the penalty for lying: “And ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Holy Bible, Revelation 21:8b, KJV)  That is the due reward for our deeds.

Have you ever passed over the chance to do good to someone?

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” (Holy Bible, James 4:17, KJV)

Jesus said, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Holy Bible, Matthew 22:39b, KJV)

We all stand condemned.

There is hope for us—but only by one way.  “JESUS saith unto him, I am the WAY, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (Holy Bible, John 14:6, KJV)

Who is the Lord Jesus Christ, and how can He save us?

The Lord Jesus Christ is God in the flesh; the virgin born Son of God, the Creator.  He was willing to die in our place, suffering the punishment for our sins.  “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Holy Bible, Romans 5:8, KJV)  “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree” (the cross). (Holy Bible, 1 Peter 2:24a, KJV)  The proof that Jesus successfully paid the wages of our sin (death), is the fact that He arose from the grave. (Holy Bible, 1 Corinthians 15:4b, KJV)

1) REPENT.  “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation.” (Holy Bible, 2 Cor. 7:10, KJV)  “For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.” (Holy Bible, Psalm 38:18, KJV)

2) RECEIVE.  From your heart, call upon the Lord Jesus to save you.  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the LORD JESUS, and shalt BELIEVE in thine HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be SAVED.”  “For whosoever shall CALL upon the NAME of the LORD shall be SAVED.” (Holy Bible, Romans 10:9,13, KJV)  Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save you right now.

3) REJOICE.  “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized.” (Holy Bible, Acts 2:41a, KJV)  God instructs us to get baptized, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Baptism does not save us—it is just a picture of us identifying with Jesus’ death and burial (as we are placed down under the water), and with His resurrection (as we are brought up out of the water).  Baptism shows our desire to now live for God.  “Even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Holy Bible, Romans 6:4b, KJV)

Yes, I just asked the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive me and to save me, and I do want to now walk in that newness of life.
