Part 1

Final Test

When you are finished with this test, please return the entire booklet back to us for grading.  When it is graded, this booklet will be returned to you, along with the next booklet.  May God richly guide you and give you wisdom from your study of this subject.

1. What are the first ten words of the Bible?  _________________________________________________________________________________

2. Reading through the Bible is very important.  Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein ______ and __________, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is ______________ therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good ______________.”

3. Romans 10:17 says, “So then __________ cometh by hearing, and hearing by the ________ of God.”

4. Beware of people who say, “You need to think outside of the ______!” or, “God is not bound to a ________!”

5. God warns us about those people in Isaiah 8:20, “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this ________, it is because there is no __________ in them.”

6.  2 Corinthians 11:13-15 says, “For such are __________ apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  And no marvel; for __________ himself is transformed into an angel of __________.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

7. Do you believe everything that you are told, or do you first read the Bible to see if those things are true?  Acts 17:11 says, “These were more __________ than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and ________________ the ____________________ daily, whether those things were ____.”

8. Jesus said in Matthew 26:53-54, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?  But how then shall the ____________________ be __________________, that thus it must be?”

9. The Theory of Evolution has now been taught exclusively in schools for several generations, and its impact has been devastating. Psalms 11:3 says, “If the ______________________ be destroyed, what can the __________________ do?”

10. Creation is the ____________________ of dealing with people about their souls.  The reason that we have to answer to God one day is because He is the Creator of this earth and mankind; thus, He is the __________.

11. The end result of teaching evolution is ______________, the belief that “there is no God.”  Psalms 14:1 says, “The ________ hath said in his heart, There is ____ God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

12. What information did the College Board miss in their research as to why the SAT scores began dropping?  They missed two important Supreme Court cases involving Madalyn Murray O’Hair, the infamous atheist.  The first case was in 1962, when school-sponsored _____________ was thrown out of the public schools.  The second case was in 1963, when __________-reading was thrown out of the public schools.

13. Proverbs 1:7 says, “The ________ of the LORD is the beginning of __________________: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

14. Proverbs 9:10 says, “The ________ of the LORD is the beginning of ____________: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.”

15. Why is it that man can survive naturally upon the earth, but that no other planet or moon seems to have the right conditions to do that?  Isaiah 45:18 says, “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that ____________ the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be __________________: I am the LORD; and there is none else.”

16. Genesis 1:1 says, “In the __________________ God created the heaven and the earth.”

17. In this verse, the word beginning, is referring to the beginning of the __________, not to the beginning of God.  God had no beginning, because He is eternal.

18. Psalms 90:1-2 says, “Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.  Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from ______________________ to ______________________, thou art God.”

19. This fact about God having no beginning, is also a fact mentioned in regard to the Lord Jesus Christ.  This proves that Jesus is ______ Almighty—not just a man or an angel.

20. Micah 5:2 is talking about Jesus, and says, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from ______________________.”

21. Isaiah 9:6, says, “For unto us a CHILD is ________, unto us a SON is __________: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

22. Notice that it says, “For unto us a CHILD is BORN.”  By a miraculous conception in the womb of the virgin Mary, Jesus’ real earthly body of __________ had a beginning—but that was not the beginning of Jesus’ existence.

23. Mary is the mother of Jesus’ earthly body of flesh, but MARY is NOT the “MOTHER OF ______.”  Jesus, the eternal Son of God, has always existed, but Mary has not.

24. Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God ______________ the heaven and the earth.”

25. That is strange that some people, who claim to believe in God, go on to regard the account of creation in Genesis chapters 1 and 2 as a myth, because Jesus referred back to creation as a ________.

26. God created a ________—not a one-celled organism that eventually formed into a man.  God created a ____________—not a one-celled organism that eventually formed into a woman.

27. The theory of evolution is not real science.  The word theory means, “an ________________ assumption.”

28. The word science means, “__________________ as distinguished from ignorance or misunderstanding.”

29.   1 Timothy 6:20 says, “O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of ______________   ______________ so called.”

30. A foundational doctrine of the faith is that God created the

heaven and the earth and all that is on it.  If you take away that doctrine, then you take away the basic reason why we must ____________ to God one day.

31. Romans 1:25 says, “Who changed the truth of God into a ______, and worshipped and served the ________________ more than the ______________, who is blessed for ever. Amen.”

32. That is the sum total of evolution: worshipping the creature (saying that we came from ______________), instead of worshipping the Creator (saying that we came from ______).

33. Some professing Christians were afraid that if they acknowledged that they believed in the Genesis account of creation, they would look ignorant and foolish in the eyes of scientists.  So what those people did was mix evolution and creation together.  Their mixing came to be known as “________________ Evolution.”  They taught that God created matter, and then just let evolution form everything over millions and billions of years.

34. If you cannot believe God as to how everything started in this universe, then how can you believe Him as to how everything is going to ______?

35. Jesus said in John 3:12, “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of ________________ things?”

36. The Bible tells us how matter came into existence.  Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the ________ of God, so that things which are ________ were not made of things which do ____________.”

37. Psalms 33:6 says, “By the ________ of the LORD were the heavens ________; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.”

38. Psalms 33:9 says, “For he __________, and it was ________; he commanded, and it stood fast.”

39. That verse tells us how long it took God to create matter.  It was ______________.  He spoke, and it was ________.  That one verse  alone proves the idea of Theistic Evolution to be wrong.

40. Another false teaching arose called the ______ Theory.  This theory taught that between the first two verses of Genesis chapter one, there were millions or billions of __________.

41. The Gap Theory falsely teaches that verse 2 is describing the earth after God supposedly __________________ a previous race upon it.

42. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by ______ man sin ______________ into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

43. The Bible tells us the name of that one man, and it was

________, which means that there could not have been a previous race of people before Adam and Eve that fell into sin.  There is NO ______ between verses 1 and 2 of Genesis chapter 1.

44. Genesis 1:2 says, “And the earth was without ________, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

45. The word form means, “the __________ and structure of something as distinguished from its material” (Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary).  God had created the material of the earth (what scientists refer to as matter), but God had not yet formed the material into specific things.

46. Genesis 1:2 says, “And the earth was without form, and ________; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

47. The word void means “not occupied, vacant, __________” (Merriam-Webster’s 11th Collegiate Dictionary).  The earth was empty at this point, because God had not yet filled it with His creations.

48. Verse 2 is NOT describing an earth that God had just destroyed through a judgment (the false teaching of the Gap Theory), but an earth whose matter God had just created, but had not yet fully formed—not yet ________________.

49. Genesis 1:2 says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the ___________ of ______ moved upon the face of the waters.”

50. The New Testament makes reference back to this verse, showing proof that all men are without excuse for not believing in the Trinity, the Godhead—that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are ______.

51. Romans 1:20 says, “For the invisible things of him from the ________________ of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his ______________ power and ______________; so that they are without excuse.”

52. The Spirit of God (God the Holy Spirit) is not just a force, as some false religions teach.  The Holy Spirit is the eternal ______.

53.  1 John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the ____________, the ________, and the ________  __________: and these three are ______.”

54. Genesis 1:3 says, “And God said, Let there be __________: and there was __________.”

55. This light was not from the sun, moon, or stars, because God did not create any of those until Day ___.

56. How was there light upon the earth, without the sun, moon, or stars?  1 John 1:5 says, “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that ______ is __________, and in him is no darkness at all.”

57. That light was from God, because God is light.  When God one day makes a new heaven and a new earth, there will be no ______ or ________ there.

58. Revelation 21:23 says, “And the city had no need of the ______, neither of the ________, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the __________ thereof.”

59. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your __________ so __________ before men, that they may ______ your good works, and glorify your ____________ which is in heaven.”
